Well, I wanted a gutsy cruiser with nice lines, moderate power and decent price. The Savage filled the bill. When I saw it I knew it was the bike I'd been looking for. Is it a stepping stone to bigger and better things? Yeah, I think it might be (if the wife approves!), but I may not want to sell it when I move on. It's got a certain character-quality that kind of worms its way into your life and becomes part of the family, if you know what I mean.
